PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP March 3, 2018 / 12pm-2pm PlayGround is offering a Playwriting Workshop this Saturday, March 3, 12pm-2pm, at the PlayGround PlaySpace for aspiring and early-career playwrights interested in learning how to write plays, with an emphasis on the ten-minute play. This workshop is a perfect primer for those planning to apply for the 2018-19 PlayGround Writers Pool (application period opens March 20, 2018) or for this year's Young Playwrights Project (limited to Bay Area high school students). Registration is $40 for adults and free for Bay Area high school students. Capacity is limited.

PLAYLAB MASTER CLASS March 20-April 24, 2018 / 7pm-10pm This six-session workshop will enable you to explore the art and craft of playwriting. Get the tools to initiate your next play or complete a new draft of your play-in-progress! Shop talks, targeted writing exercises, and discussions will be driven by your questions and needs. The final session will include readings of student work and facilitated feedback. Registration is $360 ($300 early-bird registration thru March 6).

PRIVATE DRAMATURGY SESSIONS New this year, PlayGround is now offering one-on-one dramaturgical support for playwrights working on existing short- or full-length plays. Sessions are scheduled in one-hour increments and at mutually convenient times. Registration is $100 per session.
